How is LivBetter different to the Yellow pages?

Author: Info LivBetter Reference Number: AA-00214 Views: 2361 Created: 23/07/2014 15:46 Last Updated: 19/08/2014 09:38 0 Rating/ Voters

In simple terms, the Yellow pages provides a “menu” of people and organisations, while LivBetter provides an online marketplace.

At the functional level, there are a number of differences:

  1. In LivBetter consumers specify their needs.  The LivBetter system then matches these with support offerings that respond to these needs.
  2. Service directories have to be periodically compiled and published.  They typically contain a listing of people and their qualifications or skills.  In LivBetter information on service offerings is published and maintained by providers.
  3. In service directories, consumers still have to navigate themselves through the listings.  There is no way of knowing knowing what information is current, or whether particular listings are interested at that time.
  4. In LivBetter, consumers specify their needs, and only relevant supporters who are interested and available will respond. Consumers get Specific Offer of Supports in response to their specified needs only from people who are interested in providing the support requested.

In summary LivBetter automates some of the hassle of navigating listings yourself - it matches support offerings with requests.  Consumers get Specific Offers of Support directly in response to their requests.

[TimothyErete]: Get Worry-Free Rest With This Sleep Apnea Advice 24/02/2017 16:31

If your partner complains that you snore during your sleep, or if you wake up in the morning feeling tired and grouchy, you may have a common sleep disorder called sleep apnea. This means that at night, your airway is blocked and you stop breathing during your sleep. If you have this condition, you need to find treatment right away to avoid further problems.

If you suffer from sleep apnea, you should use a Continuous Positive Airway Pressure machine while sleeping. This will help you treat your sleep apnea and get you on the path to having a full nights sleep. This machine uses either a face or nasal mask to pump air while you sleep.

Consider doing a few very specific exercises before going to bed each night, to alleviate some of your sleep apnea symptoms. Exercising throat and tongue muscles has been proven in scientific studies to reduce snoring, improve breathing and lessen the more profound effects of sleep apnea when done according to doctor's orders.

Do not take sleeping pills if you suffer from sleep apnea. These pills are not recommended if you suffer from this condition because they relax the muscles of your throat. Skipping them can actually help you get a better night of sleep because your apnea symptoms are not aggravated.

If you tend to snore a lot and have difficulties staying asleep, you should go see your doctor right away. You might have a condition known as sleep apnea: find an effective treatment so you can get enough sleep and go through your daily activities without being held back by your health problem.

Don't give up on treatment for sleep apnea after one doesn't work. There are a variety of treatments for your condition, so finding the right one is sometimes a process of trial and error. The number and severity of your symptoms influence what treatment is correct one for you. Giving multiple treatments a chance ensures you find the one that works the most effectively.

Should you suffer from sleep apnea, keep a regular sleep schedule. Your condition is already messing with your regular sleep cycle every night. If you can get on a better scheducle you will help your symptoms. The adjustment that is most important is your sleep schedule.

For people who smoke, the best way to correct a sleep apnea condition is to quit smoking. Smoking is one of the biggest causes of sleep apnea. When people stop smoking their risk of sleep apnea is reduced and they can get a full night sleep within days of quitting.

If simple changes in your lifestyle, such as regular sleep hours and losing weight, have not eliminated your sleep apnea episodes, it is time to consult with a sleep specialist. The specific causes of your sleep apnea can be evaluated, and an individual treatment plan can be designed for you.

Throughout history, sleep apnea has been one of the most frustrating, often dangerous conditions from which a person can suffer. Anyone wishing to alleviate their sleep apnea symptoms must first acquire complete comprehension of the condition's causes and possible treatments. Keep the material from this article nearby, and you will have a useful reference to help you navigate the sea of potential solutions.

I m currently using Mathcad ver.15. I have heard the Mathcad Prime 1.0 first time. Is it a newer veisron of Mathcad? I really like the new grid interface of Mathcad prime, where may not available in my veisron. At my school, they all use Mathcad 14 or 15, Could you tell me what is differrent betwen them and what s about compatibility? [url=]whwbwp[/url] [link=]qcnribwqu[/link]

    [Mahesa]: ZKOUdgvlNUZoj 01/07/2015 03:04

Hi bac,Thanks for reading the blog!Mathcad Prime 1.0 is the first reaslee of Mathcad using the new Windows ribbon interface. Many students find the new interface easier to use and therefore more powerful for scientific and engineering calculations. Currently, Mathcad Prime 1.0 is not fully feature compatible with Mathcad 15.0. For students, the two biggest missing elements are Symbolics and 3-D Graphing. We know that these are important for students, so we have enabled Mathcad Prime 1.0 licenses to run both Mathcad Prime and Mathcad 15. Students who purchases Mathcad Prime 1.0 can use Mathcad Prime for reports, problem sets and calculations when symbolics and 3-D plots are uneccessary. And, open up Mathcad 15 when the missing capabilities are required. We will ship Mathcad Prime 2.0 this January with both Symbolics and 3-D Plots! So, it will not be long before students can use Mathcad Prime's sleek interface for all of their work. If you have further questions, you can email us at Cheers,Chris [url=]mjjyjab[/url] [link=]tcuskt[/link]

We are still prioritizing fureeats for the next release, Mathcad Prime 3.0, so we don't yet have a final list of what will be in Mathcad Prime 3.0. If a many users are working with OpenOffice, it will be on our roadmap. I don't know if the interactivity we have with Microsoft Office applications like Word and Excel, will also work with OpenOffice, as we have not tested it. Mathcad is going the wrong way I mean, dramatically. I guess we the users do not have to ask olrveuses why we are moving to ANY other software in the marketplace. Maybe ANY of them out there leaves Mathcad looking like the Windows Scientific Calculator.Hope PTC notices this and make a real full upgrade to 21st century standards. Otherwise, is a waste of time and, last but not least, of money.Miss the old Mathcad15 days Prime has been an awful drawback. [url=]ldflrwu[/url] [link=]reamavbm[/link]

I use v14 at work and I have a personnel lienescd copy for use at home (currently my company has not extended the home use licenses for employee's home computers). I would like to purchase an upgrade for Prime 2.0 for my personnel license. I understand from the blog that I should be able to continue to use v14 in addition to P2.0. Is this correct? I plan to get the first years maintenance support with the upgrade (at present it is at no cost). However, if after the maintenance support runs out (maintenance support is a little steep for personnel use) will I be able to install Prime and v14/v15 on a new machine in the event it becomes necessary? I was able to do that with the v14 license.ThanksArtis [url=]pamexjuccm[/url] [link=]kdnpzdfz[/link]

From your comments, I take it that you are a long-time Mathcad user. We<a href=""> rnzgoeice</a> that PTC Mathcad Prime is a change. This is the platform that we continue to improve with new features coming out in each release. Transition to PTC Mathcad Prime was necessary to bring the 15.0 platform into 21st century. For users that take longer to upgrade, Mathcad 15.0 continues to be fully supported.Comparing PTC Mathcad Prime to Windows Scientific Calculator gives me the impression that you are perhaps not aware of the significant computational improvements that the PTC Mathcad Prime has: overhauled and improved unit support that allows unit carrying calculations using virtually any function, as well as mixed unit matrices; native 64 bit support; multi-threading support; upgraded linear algebra functions; upgraded fft and signal processing functions; upgraded solvers; and few others PTC Mathcad Prime is moving in the direction of enhancing computational capability, and at the same time modernizing UI.We do listen to our users and welcome feedback so be specific. You can contact us via e-mail directly (can't post my e-mail here, but you can guess it) or through tech support.

This isn't a capabilty of Mathcad, and there is<a href=""> nohnitg</a> special about what is shown in the video. This is a basic capabilitiy of Windows provided by the File Open dialog. Any windows based application that uses the Windows provided file open dialog can do the exact same thing. There is no integration here. What is needed is the ability to render Mathcad sheets in Sharepoint in the same fashion as Excel, Powerpoint and Word documents are rendered. How can I open a Mathcad document stored in Sharepoint on my iPad? How can I calculate formulas in Mathcad based on data in a Sharepoint list? How can I store the results of multiple calculations in a data source described by the business intelligence center? How can I have specific graphs rendered in web parts on a Sharepoint page? These are integrations between Mathcad and Sharepoint.

Or you can just print into a PDF file, then with a vector image<a href=""> edtior</a> (like Inkscape or Illustrator) crop/resize/clean your calculations and finally save as EMF format.Remember that MS Word accept EMF as vector image, then when you publish your work in PDF, the graph and calculations will be beauty.(Use a function for outline the text, to avoiding font related problem in your docs).

Please do not forget to upadte the GUI in Prime 3.0:- there are several types of fonts in the GUI. There should be only one = the Windows default one. Set all GUI fonts to MS Shell Dlg 2);- respect the font ClearType Windows setting (when is OFF in Windows, must be off in Mathcad);- switching between documents with Ctrl+Tab is bringing a new window on top ???- no way to insert WMF, EMF;- when right clicking on the page, the tab title font is turning from bold to regular;- now way to change GUI color (is always blue. No gray, silver or black theme);- all icons are blurry. Please make them sharper, like in Office 2010;- change the ribbon type. The one in Prime 2.0 (with the orb) looks old. Make it like in Office 2010.- cannot add/remove buttons to Quick Access toolbar;- no X button for closing the tabs;- button selection is blue on ribbon and yellow on right click menu;Thank you.

My problem also ionelvvs Mathcad 11, but in my case it just stopped working. I start it, get the hourglass for about a 5 seconds, and then nothing. The application appears and then vanishes from my task manager. This just started a few months ago. I have repeatedly removed and re-installed it without effect. Do not want to upgrade. Running Windows XP SP3 32-bit. What gives? I have some work that I need to do here. Any advice is appreciated.

Blogs, or social nenrwokitg sites, can greatly improve exposure of a legal professional or any professional for that matter. It's only like distributing your business cards a thousand, even a million, times in seven continents provided there is internet connection of course. Too bad lawyers can practice only in a certain state or location.

No doubt that blogs are essential. But what proaftlm should you host your blog on. There are literally hundreds like WordPress, Tumblr and of course Google Blogspot. While the latter is probably the less aesthetically pleasing, there is some evidence that Google is giving a preferential option in their search results for those blogs who are built on their proaftlm. It makes commercial sense from their point of view. Worth considering if your firm is contemplating a blog.
