How does LivBetter make money?

Author: Info LivBetter Reference Number: AA-00236 Views: 5064 Created: 23/07/2014 16:10 Last Updated: 05/08/2014 11:07 0 Rating/ Voters

Philosophy:

The use of LivBetter is free to the person in need, the primary carer or anybody providing free support, such as family, friends or volunteers. Providers can also promote their services free.

People who get a financial benefit from using the system pay fees as outlined below.

Advertising:

All users of the system, consumers, service providers and hubs, are exposed to online advertising, unless they choose to subscribe to a Premium service to remove the advertising. This Premium subscription costs $119.95 per annum (or $19.95 per month).

What Fees do we charge?

LivBetter charges a percentage-based fee on transactions for paid support activities and a flat fee for concessional or subsidised arrangements.

Fee and charges:

Paid support activities

Subsidised arrangements

New Client Set Up Fee (once off):

8%

$8.00

Commission:

2%

$2.00

Processing Charge (on total transaction):

+ $0.30

Paid support activities

For every paid support activity arranged by a client through the LivBetter system the service provider is charged the following fees:

· Connection Fee: A once-off fee of 8% of the value of the service for new clients introduced to a provider through the LivBetter system.

+ Service Fee: Fee of $0.30 on every transaction (to cover financial and service fees).

+ Commission: A commission of 2% for every paid support activity arranged by a consumer with a service provider through the LivBetter system.

Concessional services (including government-subsidised services)

For every concessional or subsidised support activity arranged by a client through the LivBetter system the service provider is charged the following fees:

· Connection Fee: A once-off fee of $8.00 for new clients of a service provider, introduced to a provider for the first time through the LivBetter system.

+ Base Fee: A service fee of $0.30 on each transaction.

+ Commission: A commission of $2.00 for every concessional support activity arranged by a consumer with a service provider, through the LivBetter system.

How are fees paid?

LivBetter uses PayPal for its financial transactions. PayPal is an internationally secure financial transaction processing system. Service providers (including professional case managers or care coordinators) need to have a PayPal account, from which the appropriate fees are debited.

When are fees paid?

Fees are payable only when a service offer is accepted i.e. when providers get business, NOT for every offer they make. Hence this is a cost-effective way of promoting a service.

The Introduction Fee is debited (together with the Service Fee and first Commission) when the client accepts the service offer. For re-occurring services, the Service Fees and appropriate commission are debited on the scheduled date of each service activity.

Examples

If a consumer accepts a specific offer for a $50.00 non-subsidised activity from a provider they have not engaged through LivBetter before, LivBetter will debit the provider:

· Connection Fee (@8%): $ 4.00

+ Commission (@2%): $ 1.00

+ Service Fee: $ 0.30

Total: $ 5.30

The $5.30 would be automatically debited from the service provider’s account at the time that the consumer accepts the specific offer.

If the same consumer then arranges a new support activity for $50.00 from the same provider, LivBetter will debit the provider:

· Service Fee: $ 0.30

+ Commission (@2%): $ 1.00

Total: $ 1.30

The $1.30 would be automatically debited from the service provider’s account at the time that the service activity is scheduled.

If the same consumer is now able to arrange a concessional or subsidised service with the same service provider for $120.00 ($30.00 out of pocket and $90.00 subsidy), LivBetter would debit the provider:

· Base Service Fee: $ 0.30

+ Commission (Flat fee): $ 2.00

Total: $ 2.30

The $2.30 would be automatically debited from the service provider’s account at the time that the service activity is scheduled.

If a NEW consumer now accepts a specific offer for a $120.00 subsidised activity from this provider (who they have not engaged in LivBetter before), LivBetter will debit the provider:

· Introduction Fee (Flat fee): $ 8.00

+ Service Fee: $ 0.30

+ Commission (Flat fee): $ 2.00

Total: $10.30

The $10.30 would be automatically debited from the service provider’s account at the time that the consumer accepts the specific offer.

Setting up an account with PayPal is quick and easy. After registering with LivBetter, service providers will be guided through the process when they first make a service offering.

I definitely appteciare the offer but I don't really need the help. I used to be pretty big into cycling but I suffered an injury, wasn't able to ride for several months and just sort of gave it up. That was like 2 years ago now (time flies). The weather here is nice now and my schedule is permitting so I'll be back at it soon. http://vurcdev.com [url=http://jtnrykr.com]jtnrykr[/url] [link=http://pelgmqbki.com]pelgmqbki[/link]

According to the IRS non-recourse *censored* do not result in cancellation of debt income if it is sold for less than what is owed. This is NOT part of the mortgage forgiveness debt relief act that is set to expire on 12/31/12. Seems odd that you wouldnt mention that important fact. I believe drmaes and visions can come from many places. They can be piratized just as a swath of Nostradamus' work was piratized from the Book of Revelation. They may be the product of our own fears and desires, so produced by our own minds. Or, they may be the gift of wisdom. In ancient days people built walls around their cities for protection. The Watchman would stand on the wall ever vigilant watching for approaching danger. The Watchman would warn the people when danger was approaching allowing the city to prepare for the onslaught. Watchman possess the gift of wisdom. http://ecpnlgxqg.com [url=http://wchcndojbiy.com]wchcndojbiy[/url] [link=http://gqrhaukvhrz.com]gqrhaukvhrz[/link]

Between me and my husband we've owned more MP3 prelays over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I've settled down to one line of prelays. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

Hi Carol,I'm sorry to hear you're having a hard time with the app. We use a dinrfeeft system than MyFitnessPal. Thryve works by clicking the + new meal (camera) button, and snapping a photo of your meal. The next screen will prompt you to title your meal ( Salad for example), and then you can begin adding what's in the meal. So, you might start typing Spi for spinach, and a pop-up list comes up, with foods that start with Spi . You can either select from that list, or complete typing out the word Spinach followed by hitting the space bar twice. Are you looking in the Smart Add button? This is a feature that can auto-suggest meals that you've already entered based on the time and your location. So if you eat 1 of 3 things for breakfast everyday, you don't have to re-enter your cereal or omelet everyday. You can add it once and then it's always in your library. The search feature in the library will only show up foods you've already eaten. If you're still having a hard time, please send me an e-mail so I can help you. nicole [at] thryveco [dot] com.Happy Holidays!

This misses the final step: how do you get the URL of a Queued Post, so you can link to it when it aeapprs? This is a real problem, because if you can't get the URL in advance, you still have to keep returning to your tumblr site, as each post is published, so you can copy-and-paste its URL into all the places that it needs to go, e.g. your Website.I'm investigating this now. Click this post's Website URL to see whether I succeeded![]

, we lucked out on the weetahr, with the skies doing their big dumping while we were sleeping, Sunday came up sunny and bright, just a touch cooler than Saturday. It's kind of a shame that we always seem to have a few folks who hear rain and cancel out. We've done these in hurricanes, and those are the best ones! Suck it up people, this is motorcycles ! -So, a real good giro, good fun and fellowship, thanks to all who made it happen. We are seeking someone to run what will probably be the last Spring giro out of Jiminy Peak. This will be a very easy giro to run as all the connections are in place, there's even a Sundays route completely done. I will help with a destination and route for Saturday, got a honey in mind (Hugh's Bultaco Museum), all you would have to do is fill in the punch list we have for jobs with volunteers, contact Jiminy for the dates, route sheets and so on. We have a manual that tells you how to do everything, and a board of experts who will lead and assist. As I said, this will be an EASY one to do, and we need a few new folks to step in and give back, as many of us have. Let Bob Coy know if you're interested.Dgy

No way to predict. I like the no anaunl fee cards (if the issuer doesn't pull a fast one and decide to institute a fee like Citibank did with my platinum card luckily, they didn't increase my interest rate at the same time or it would have been a no-brainer to close the account, which I'm still mulling over). You will have to weigh the potentials. How much are you going to charge and how long will it take for you to pay it off? If you can't answer that, neither can we.The best advice I can possibly give is to go to a credit union and get their credit card. Federal law caps the interest rate that can be charged at 18% (although mine has never ever been that high and hasn't been raised in 10 years) and there are no anaunl membership fees. That way, if you must carry a balance, you aren't going to get hosed as badly and you're not going to get any unwanted surprises if you don't use the card the way the banks think you should be using it.

    [Portgas]: hOSBNNuNmbmld 28/06/2015 02:33

CC issuers have alerady done the analysis and have come up with a solution that is in THEIR best interest, not yours.Example: A $1,000 CC balance to be paid off in one year. The issuer may offer you a 9% rate with a $50 annual fee or an 18% rate with no annual fee. They will both cost you about $100 for the entire year. The 9%/$50 will cost you $49 interest + $50 annual fee. The 18%/$0 will cost you about $100 interest + $0 annual fee. The CC issuer is hoping you will charge more than the $1000.Let's take $2,000 and the same interest rates and annual fee above. The 9%/$50 card will cost you a total of about $150 for the year while the 18% card will cost you about $200 for the year.Let's take $500 and the same interest rates and annual fee above. The 9%/$50 card will cost you a total of about $75 for the year while the 18% card will cost you about $50.It looks like if you carry high balances, the annual fee is a cheaper option while low balances are more expensive. So, you can see that it depends upon how much balance you will carry and the interest rate and the amount of the annual fee and how long you carry the balance. If you are not making enough money for the CC issuer, you can count on your interest rate to increase on your new purchases with the intent to cost you more money. Which ever card you choose, you'll be locked into that agreement. You won't be able to swap between the interest rate and fee programs. In any case, credit cards are an expensive debt close to payday loan company debts.

that, permit me tell you what etlcxay did work. Your writing is highly powerful and that is most likely why I am making an effort to comment. I do not really make it a regular habit of doing that. Secondly, even though I can notice the jumps in logic you make, I am definitely not convinced of just how you seem to connect the details which inturn make the final result. For the moment I will subscribe to your point but hope in the near future you link your facts much better.
