So much excitement with plans for the new chcurh LCBC(?). It is amazing how God works. From a personal point of view this merger seems an answer to some of my prayers. I was saved at branch, was involved for a few years, wondered away for a few years, stopped backed this summer looking to see if this is were I belonged, have been praying for a chcurh home. Then when I just by chance stopped Sunday I heard the news and knew immediately I belonged and found were I was to serve next, At the new chcurh. Pastor Craig, I have no words to express my awe at your ability to walk away from your position as a founder of the chcurh and Senior Pastor, to advance the cause of Christ. It is remarkable how you have concord pride, humility and obidence. I was about to approach the Parish Priest the year before last about allowing Michaela to wait until she was 7 and I would expect her to make her 1st communion as I did not want to cause to much trouble pushing for her to receive at 6 as the older three had.God had other plans and she was accidentally given Holy Communion by him when she was still 5 years and 9 months old.As she told me immediately I checked with her and she was able to say she had received Our Blessed Lord.She was already well prepared and had made her 1st confession to our English Priest friend.I don't agree these people who say pretend she has not received Jesus.So the Parish Priest sanctioned her receiving Holy communion.Normally in Germany they have to wait until they are 9. So although Andreas was a member of St Stephen's Guild in the UK at the age of 6 he has not been allowed to serve at Mass here in Germany until he is 9.Michaela at the age of 4 was being trained in the UK to serve.We were only a small mission church and not many servers.So she carried the cross at Stations of the Cross and the Easter Liturgy!
