Making a Specific Offer

Step 1: You will receive an email notifying you that someone has request your support. Click on the link in the email, or go to the main LivBetter menu page.

Step 2: Select the "Respond to Support Requests" button.

You will now be guided through the steps needed to specify the details and publish a support offering to a specific person, including confirmation of the details in the request:

The type of support is requested

Who has requested your support

When the support is needed

Where the support is needed

A unique name for the request so that you can recognise it later.

While confirming (or modifying) these details, you will also get the opportunity to specify your charges (if any) for this support.

In terms of the price, you can offer the support free (as a volunteer), on a concessional rate (where the support is subsidised), or as an hourly rate or lump sum fee. For all priced support you need to have an account with PayPal, and pre-commit to the commission that is charged on this support. For more details, please see: Fees and charges

Step 3: After completing Specific Offer details, you "Send" this offer.

Step 4: When the person requesting support selects your Offer you will receive a confirmation email.

Take the "Offer Support" tour - go to the main LivBetter website menu and select "Take a Tour".
